PlayFountain Launch Postponed

The launch of the “PlayFountain” mobile water playground at Kochbrunnenplatz, scheduled for Saturday, July 18, has been postponed. On Friday afternoon, the Health Department did not approve the facility’s operation based on the available water test results.

Everyone involved is working hard to find a solution. However, a new water sample must be taken before the fountain can be put back into operation. The results of this new sample will be available no sooner than early next week.

The PlayFountain features a water treatment system that recirculates and continuously purifies the water, ensuring it remains at drinking water quality. The water playground covers an area of about 100 square meters and has approximately 1,000 electronically controlled nozzles. They produce water fountains up to four meters high.
