The reason for this is civil engineering work to replace the water main following a pipe break and to replace the gas service line by ESWE-Versorgungs AG. 

Residents of Oberriethstraße, house numbers 15 through 26, can access their properties via Wiesenstraße. Residents of Oberriethstraße, house numbers 2 through 12, can access their properties via Grundmühlweg. 

The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes.

The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewer systems. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year.
