Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Road Closures in Dotzheim

The roadway will be completely closed in the areas around the intersection of Hohlstraße and Mühlborngasse, the intersection of Bethelstraße and Karrnnweg, and Felsenstraße from Monday, July 20, through Saturday, August 1 (tentatively). This is due to work to resurface the road, commissioned by ESWE-Versorgungs AG.

Residents of Felsenstraße and Karrnweg can access their properties via Panoramastraße. The one-way traffic regulations on Felsenstraße, Mühlborngasse, and Karrnweg will be suspended for the duration of the closure to ensure residents can exit the area. Residents of Hohlstraße can access their properties via Schlehdornstraße.

Pedestrians can use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions associated with the construction work.

The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden each year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
