Election Committee Meets: Runoff Election for the Local Advisory Council in Absentee Voting District 99024

The Election Committee for the repeat local council election in Absentee Voting District 99024 (Northeast District) will convene for a public meeting on Friday, July 10, at 1:00 p.m., at City Hall, Room 18, Schlossplatz 6, to decide on changes to the submitted candidate lists.

The runoff election will be held based on the candidate lists from the primary election. In accordance with Section 59, Paragraph 4, Sentence 1 of the Local Election Regulations, candidate lists may be amended if a candidate has died or is no longer eligible for election. Six parties and voter groups were eligible to participate in the main election on March 15, 2026, in the Northeast local district for the local council election.

Natalie Hörner presides over the meeting in her capacity as deputy election officer for the local elections in Wiesbaden. In addition to her, the election committee consists of six members appointed by political parties.
