Voter Notifications and Absentee Ballot Materials for the Repeat Local Advisory Council Election in Absentee Voting District 99024
Due to irregularities in the local council election in the Northeast district within mail-in voting district 99024 on March 15 of this year, a repeat election will be held in this mail-in voting district on Sunday, September 6. The election will be conducted entirely by mail.
Voter notification letters containing absentee ballot materials for the approximately 700 eligible voters in the repeat election will be mailed in the coming days. The Election Office asks citizens to pay special attention to the election materials when sorting through their mail and not to mistake them for advertising mail.
Those eligible to vote in the repeat election are individuals who were eligible to vote in the main election on March 15 in electoral districts 232 and 241 and who applied for an absentee ballot for the local council election. Individuals who are no longer registered with their primary residence in the Northeast district are not eligible to vote in the repeat election.
Voters who have not received a voting notice with absentee ballot materials by Sunday, August 16, should contact the Election Office by phone at (0611) 314501 or by email at wahlenwiesbadende.
For undelivered or lost absentee ballot materials, the Election Office of the State Capital of Wiesbaden, located at Friedrichstraße 16, 1st floor, side wing, will be open on the following days:
