The event offers everyone interested the opportunity to exchange ideas, ask questions, and learn firsthand about current developments in bicycle planning. The focus is on three topics: 

• Bicycle lanes between parked cars and the sidewalk, such as on Rheinstraße between Karlstraße and Ringkirche
• Riding straight ahead in the right-turn lane, the so-called “Leipzig combined lane,” such as on Rheinstraße near the RMCC 
• Green arrows for bicycle traffic, including rules of conduct and potential applications. 

Transportation Commissioner Andreas Kowol would like to discuss these approaches and invites everyone to share their own ideas. The Cycling Forum thrives on dialogue and is aimed at anyone who wants to get involved in making the city more bike-friendly.

Until Saturday, June 20, everyone who lives, works, goes to school, or belongs to a club in Wiesbaden is invited to participate in City Cycling under the motto “Covering Miles Together,” aiming to travel as many routes as possible by bike and collect kilometers.
