Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Open Spots in the Summer Vacation Program

There are still a few spots available in the city’s summer vacation program. Parents and guardians can still book activities for children and teens at the last minute through the vacation portal of the state capital, Wiesbaden.

At www.wiesbaden-ferienprogramm.de (opens in a new tab), interested individuals can search specifically for available spots and get an overview of all events currently open for booking. Registration and payment are handled directly online through the booking portal.

Available spots include five-day workshops for children and teens, as well as the Youth Summer Specials for teens ages 12 and up. The program features recreational, sports, creative, and adventure activities tailored to various interests and age groups. Currently, for example, spots are still available in swimming classes, drama classes, wilderness weeks, and choir and music weeks. In addition, there are still spots available at the inclusive summer camp organized by Stadtjugendring Wiesbaden e. V. at the youth nature campground. The camp is designed for children and teens with and without disabilities and offers shared vacation experiences in a natural setting. In general, the programs are also open to children and teens with special needs. Individual support needs can be specified during registration and will be taken into account.

Since experience has shown that some programs can fill up quickly, the Office of Social Work recommends checking the current availability on the vacation portal regularly.

The city’s vacation programs are organized by the Youth Work Division of the Office of Social Work of the State Capital of Wiesbaden. They help ensure childcare during the vacations while also providing a wide range of experiences free from pressure to perform.
