This concert evening is all about farewells and new beginnings: Four of the nine singers in the class will be graduating from the Wiesbaden Academy of Music this coming fall. Together with their classmates, they will present highlights from their final recital programs, creating a concert evening that is both musically and emotionally moving. 

The audience can look forward to a program that reflects the stylistic diversity of vocal studies. The first part features oratorio and art song works by Joseph Haydn, Franz Schubert, Richard Wagner, Hector Berlioz, and Hugo Wolf. The second part is dedicated to the opera stage with scenes and arias by Jules Massenet, Gioachino Rossini, Bedřich Smetana, Jacques Offenbach, and other composers.

“Another Suitcase, Another Hall” symbolizes the transition into a new phase of life. At the same time, the evening offers the opportunity to experience the artistic development of the young singers and to bid farewell to the graduates as they embark on their future paths.
