Association for a Healthy Wiesbaden: Angela Tausendpfund Remains Executive Director
Angela Tausendpfund will remain managing director of the Gesellschaft für ein gesundes Wiesbaden mbH (EGW). On Wednesday, June 17, following a recommendation by the municipal government of the state capital of Wiesbaden and a resolution by the EGW supervisory board, the contract extension was signed by supervisory board chair Milena Löbcke and Tausendpfund. Tausendpfund will thus continue to manage the EGW’s operations until at least 2032.
Tausendpfund is pleased with the recognition of her work to date: “I am very pleased about the contract extension and the trust it reflects. Continuing our collaboration offers the opportunity to consistently carry forward the projects we’ve started and to drive forward important future initiatives for Wiesbaden. Together with the EGW team, I will continue to work with full commitment to successfully implement the strategic goals defined jointly with the city and to ensure the company’s positive development in a sustainable manner.”
Health Commissioner Löbcke, who also serves as Chair of the EGW Supervisory Board, emphasizes the outstanding performance of the management team, which led to the early contract extension: “Under Tausendpfund, EGW has made significant progress. The EGW team not only fulfills its oversight role with great dedication regarding the Helios Dr. Horst-Schmidt Clinics but also takes on a wide range of tasks in the interest of Wiesbaden as a city of health. In doing so, EGW has significantly raised its profile in recent years while simultaneously achieving sustainable cost reductions. I am very much looking forward to continuing our trusting collaboration with Tausendpfund for a healthy city.”
