Heat-related damage on the 1st Ring Road: Closure of the eco-lane and the Schiersteiner Straße bus stop
Due to heat damage to the road surface, the eco-lane and the Schiersteiner Straße bus stop in the direction of the main train station at Kaiser-Friedrich-Ring 39–41 must be closed for safety reasons.
The Civil Engineering and Surveying Office is currently planning repairs to the damage that has occurred. To carry out the necessary work, changes to traffic routing in this area will be required. Information regarding the start of the work and any potential traffic restrictions will be provided in a timely manner.
The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions associated with the work.
