Piano recital at the Kulturforum
Students of the Wiesbaden Music Academy and pupils of the Wiesbaden Music & Art School, class of Prof. Ulrich Meining, invite all interested parties to a piano recital at the Kulturforum, Friedrichstraße 16, on Tuesday, June 16 at 7 pm. Admission is free.
The evening opens with concert études by Frédéric Chopin and Franz Liszt, which impressively showcase the instrument’s technical and tonal versatility. A special highlight of the evening is Robert Schumann’s work. The program includes, among other works, the early Allegro, Op. 8; the grand Piano Sonata No. 2 in G minor, Op. 22; and the late Fantasiestücke, Op. 111, which illuminate different facets of his Romantic oeuvre.
The program is complemented by compositions by Franz Schubert, Claude Debussy, and Sergei Prokofiev.
