Kunsthaus invites you to an accessible guided tour through the exhibition "Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky"
The Kunsthaus, Schulberg 10, invites you to a barrier-free guided tour of the exhibition "Memory in Action: Marcelo Brodsky" with Fabian Korner (inclusion activist) and Esther Poppe (art mediator) on Thursday, June 11, at 2 pm.
This event is open to both people with visual impairments and sighted individuals. Sighted participants will learn what it is like to experience the exhibition from the perspective of people with visual impairments. The tour is free of charge.
Marcelo Brodsky is one of Latin America’s most significant artists. As a photographer, visual artist, and international human rights activist, his work focuses particularly on visual language and memory. Marcelo Brodsky gained international recognition with his series “Buena Memoria” (1997), which addresses the deportation and murder of some of his classmates and his brother Fernando Brodsky during the military dictatorship in Argentina. Further series followed, including “1968 – The Fire of Ideas,” “Africa in the Struggle for Freedom,” “Apartheid,” and “Black Lives Matter.” The Kunsthaus is presenting around 100 of his works.
