Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

To the Caligari with the Seniors' Advisory Council

In cooperation with the Caligari Filmbühne, Marktplatz 9, the Seniors' Advisory Council in the state capital of Wiesbaden invites you to "Die leisen und die großen Töne" on Tuesday, June 16, 3:30 p.m., as part of the "Rückblende - Film ab" series. Admission costs six euros for all age groups.

About the film: Thibaut Desormeaux, a world-class conductor, ends up in a working-class town far from the metropolis of Paris after collapsing during an orchestra rehearsal. Diagnosis: leukemia. A bone marrow transplant is essential for his survival. However, when his sister gets tested, it turns out she isn’t biologically related to him at all. So, after 37 years, the cat is finally out of the bag: Thibaut is an adopted child. But he has a biological brother who can be tracked down in the countryside. The adoption of the two brothers was, in a way, a social experiment: Thibaut ended up in an educated middle-class household and was encouraged musically from the start—while Jimmy was placed with a couple who were kind-hearted but penniless.

The box office opens daily at 5 p.m. and half an hour before the event begins.
