Musical journey through life: Concert at the Kulturforum

Students of the Wiesbaden Music Academy invite you to a special musical journey on Friday, June 19, at 7 p.m. at the Kulturforum, Friedrichstraße 16. Under the title "A musical journey through life - from the cradle to the grave", the audience can expect a varied concert program that musically traces the various stages and emotions of a life's journey. Admission is free.

Music accompanies people from the very first moments of life until their final farewell. It expresses joy and hope, offers comfort in difficult times, and speaks of love, longing, passion, loss, and new beginnings. This concert is dedicated to these universal experiences, featuring works from various eras and styles.

The program features compositions by Johannes Brahms, Georges Bizet, John Rutter, and other composers who bring the different stages of life and emotional worlds to life through music. The result is a multifaceted concert evening that invites reflection, remembrance, and empathy.

What makes this concert special is not only its theme but also its origins: the event serves as the culmination of the “Concert Organization” course at the Wiesbaden Music Academy. Fourth-semester students independently conceived, planned, and organized the evening. On stage, they will be supported by students from other years.
