“The goal is to create new housing within the city limits. In this way, the project will help alleviate pressure on the tight housing market. Apartments will be built on the site in an attractive, central, and green location in Wiesbaden,” says Mayor and Head of Urban Planning Gert-Uwe Mende.

The plan is to create a modern residential neighborhood with plenty of green space and communal areas for residents. Four apartment buildings will be constructed in the Aukammallee area. The building heights will be aligned with the neighboring development and will range from four to seven stories. A total of approximately 75 apartments are planned. About 17 of these will be built as subsidized housing. 

All buildings will feature green flat roofs and recessed upper floors with rooftop terraces. In addition, the facades of two buildings will be greened at the base. The sloping terrain of the site, with an elevation difference of about eight meters, will be utilized to accommodate an underground parking garage with parking spaces for neighborhood residents.
