Summer meadow in Reisinger Anlagen: fun, games and action for families
From Saturday, June 27 to Wednesday, July 1, the Reisinger Anlagen opposite the main train station will be transformed into a large play area for children and families every day from 2 to 7 pm. As part of the "wi&you Schöne Ferien" vacation program organized by the Office for Social Work, the summer meadow offers a varied program of games, exercise and creative activities over five days.
Under the theme “Play, Fun, Art, and Lots of Action,” visitors can look forward to a diverse program of hands-on activities. Artists and play specialists create new activities every day and invite children to try them out, get creative, and be active together.
On the grounds, children can, among other things, try out a giant water slide, let off steam on the ninja course, cool off with water games, or explore the playmobile. In addition, arts-and-crafts and creative activities invite children to design and experiment. The program is complemented by further games and hands-on activities, as well as a varied stage program.
The Sommerwiese is designed to be inclusive: the stage program is accompanied by a sign language interpreter so that deaf visitors can also participate. In addition, a quiet tent is available as a place of retreat, allowing children to take a break from the hustle and bustle. With its open and accessible offerings, the Sommerwiese is aimed at all children and families and creates a place for socializing, physical activity, and creative summer experiences right in the heart of the city. A colorful program for the whole family—play, fun, and summer in the heart of Wiesbaden.
