Work in the Rieslingstrasse in Breckenheim
In the course of the renewal of the sewer, Rieslingstraße will be completely closed.
The work will be carried out in successive phases from Monday, May 11, through mid-October. Following the sewer replacement, the roadway will be repaved on behalf of the Department of Civil Engineering and Surveying.
The restrictions also affect bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes.
The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions associated with the work.
The city regularly renews roads, pipes, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without it, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
