Closure of Hildastrasse
Hildastraße has been fully closed at house number 2 since Tuesday, May 5. The reason for this is the repair of a defective water pipe on behalf of ESWE-Versorgungs AG.
The work is expected to continue until Saturday, May 30.
The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians may use the sidewalk. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen. If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de. All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
