"AI Open Learning Lab for Women" at the Zukunftswerk

Following the success of previous rounds, the open AI learning format for women is entering the next round under a new name: The "AI Open Learning Lab for Women" will take place from Monday, June 1, to Monday, July 27, every Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Zukunftswerk in the Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6, 2nd floor (by the bridge).

This program is designed for women who want to gain hands-on experience with artificial intelligence (AI), try it out, and explore its potential together. The focus is on collaborative learning, sharing ideas, and mutual support. Some prior experience with AI applications is helpful but not required. Participation is free of charge. Participants are asked to bring their own device, such as a laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Registration is available at anny.eu/book/lab-for-women (opens in a new tab)

Each session begins with a brief thematic introduction to Artificial Intelligence. Afterward, participants work individually or in small groups on their own ideas, questions, and practical applications. They are guided by experienced AI coaches.

“With the ‘AI Open Learning Lab for Women,’ we are creating an open space where women can discover new technologies together and actively help shape them. In the field of artificial intelligence, we need low-barrier opportunities that invite people to experiment, learn, and network,” says Maral Koohestanian, Head of the Department for Smart City, Europe, and Public Order.

Karin Siepmann, the initiator of the program, also highlights the unique nature of the series: “I am particularly pleased that our ‘Community of Practice’ has been learning with and from one another for over a year now, and that we have grown together as a vibrant community.”

Questions about the event can be directed via email to zukunftswerkwiesbadende.
