Local councils meet
The Sonnenberg, Schierstein, Delkenheim and Medenbach local councils will be meeting next week. At the public meetings, citizens have the opportunity to ask questions before the agenda is taken up.

The Sonnenberg Local Council will meet on Tuesday, May 19, at 7:00 p.m., at the Sonnenberg Local Administration Office, Hofgartenplatz 1. Topics to be discussed at the meeting include funding, municipal heat planning, traffic volume at the Goldsteinquelle in the Goldsteintal, and the adoption of guidelines for the allocation of grants from the funding.
The Schierstein Local Council will meet on Wednesday, May 20, at 7 p.m., at the Schierstein Local Administration Office, Room 3, Karl-Lehr-Straße 6. The members of the Local Advisory Board will discuss, among other things, the Badr-Gemeinde Schierstein reading and writing assistance program, the West Development Area, the 2027 budget, municipal heating planning, the conversion of the Söhnleinanlage and Mümmelmannweg children’s playgrounds into multi-generational playgrounds, the landscaping of the areas around the Schierstein Bridge, reports from working groups, and funding.
The Delkenheim Local Council will meet on Thursday, May 21, at 7 p.m., at the Delkenheim Community Center, 2 Münchener Street. The agenda includes, among other items, municipal heat planning, a status update on the design of the Lange Seegewann roundabout, accessibility for the Delkenheim local administration, and funding.
The Medenbach Local Advisory Board will meet on Thursday, May 21, at 7 p.m. in the Medenbach Community Center, common room, Am Sportfeld. The agenda includes, among other items, a presentation of the “Color-Cup” event, municipal heating planning, budget proposals for 2027/28, an inspection of the Medenbach Community Center with relevant departments, the lack of mowing on the recreational areas on Münzenbergstraße, and funding.
