Ostfeld in dialog: Invitation to the information evening on the new building of the Federal Criminal Police Office
How is the Ostfeld area developing and what is the planning status for the new building for the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA)? The urban planning office and the urban development company (SEG) will be providing information about this on Tuesday, May 12, 6 p.m., at the Bürgerhaus Erbenheim, Am Bürgerhaus 3. All interested parties are cordially invited to find out about the current status of the plans and to talk to those involved in the project.
The focus of the information evening is the planned BKA “ALL IN ONE” campus, which is intended to bring together in one location the Federal Criminal Police Office’s offices—currently spread across several properties within the city of Wiesbaden—and create a modern, forward-looking work environment. While a Europe-wide tender process is underway for the master planning phase to further develop the design of the future urban district and the surrounding landscape, the urban land-use planning process is being carried out to realize the vision for the new BKA campus.
Even before the first official public participation event as part of the urban land-use planning process, representatives from the City Planning Office, SEG, the BKA, and the participating architecture and landscape planning firms will provide insights into the current status of the plans and explain the next steps in the process.
Mayor Gert-Uwe Mende cordially invites citizens: “The Ostfeld is a project for the future of Wiesbaden. I hope many interested residents will take this opportunity to learn more, ask questions, and follow the project’s progress.”
Following a technical presentation, members of the public will have the opportunity to speak directly with project participants and the experts closely involved in the planning process.
The event will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with doors opening at 5:30 p.m. Registration for this public event is not required. Admission is free.
