Seniors' Advisory Council invites you to the classic movie "Heroes"
In cooperation with the Murnau-Filmtheater, the Seniors' Advisory Council in the state capital of Wiesbaden invites you to the "Film classics in the afternoon" series. The film "Helden", a comedy from 1958, will be shown on Wednesday, June 3, at 3:30 pm.
The event will take place at the Murnau Film Theater, located at Murnaustraße 6. Admission is 6 euros and applies to all age groups. Tickets are available at the box office and online at murnau-stiftung.de/filmtheater. About the film: During the Bulgarian-Serbian War of 1885, Swiss Captain Bluntschli, serving as a mercenary in the Serbian army, chooses flight over a “honorable death” on the battlefield. He takes refuge in the bedroom of the young, wealthy Raina—unaware that she is the daughter of Bulgarian Major Petkoff and the fiancée of the heroic Lieutenant Sergius Saranoff (Director: Franz Peter Wirth, 97 minutes, starring O. W. Fischer, Liselotte Pulver, Ellen Schwiers).
