Full closure of Birkenstraße in Biebrich
Birkenstraße is fully closed to vehicle traffic at house number 81 from Monday, May 18, until probably Friday, June 5, for civil engineering work to rectify a gas fault. The closure also affects cyclists.
Pedestrians can continue to use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding any traffic disruptions caused by the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
