Complete closure of Felsenstraße in Dotzheim
Felsenstraße will be fully closed in the area of house number 28 from Monday, June 8 until probably Friday, June 26. The reason for this is civil engineering work to renew the water and gas connections by ESWE-Versorgungs AG.
Residents of Felsenstraße can access their properties as usual via Karrnweg or Panoramastraße. The one-way traffic regulation on Felsenstraße will be suspended for the duration of the closure to ensure that residents can drive out.
The closure also affects bicycle traffic. Pedestrians can use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions associated with the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to more severe traffic disruptions.
