Wiesbaden's outdoor pools start the summer season step by step
The outdoor pool season in Wiesbaden begins: In the coming weeks, the state capital's outdoor pools will gradually open their doors and invite citizens and guests of the city to swim, relax and sunbathe.
The Opelbad kicks things off on Thursday, May 14. This historic outdoor pool on the Neroberg offers not only a refreshing dip but also a unique view of Wiesbaden and the Rhine-Main region.
The Kleinfeldchen outdoor and indoor pool follows on Saturday, May 23. Visitors can look forward to spacious outdoor areas there.
Finally, the Kallebad opens on Saturday, May 30, rounding out the selection of outdoor pools.
The Maaraue outdoor pool will remain closed during the 2026 season due to extensive renovation work. The modernization of this historic pool is intended to sustainably improve its appeal and technical facilities.
