Henkell Artificial Ice Rink Kicks Off the New Ice Skating Season
The Henkell Artificial Ice Rink in Wiesbaden kicks off the new ice season on Saturday, November 7.
After the summer break, ice skating fans can once again look forward to carefree hours on the ice. Whether it’s taking your first tentative steps on skates, skating laps for exercise, or enjoying recreational fun with family and friends—the ice rink offers opportunities for exercise and enjoyment again this winter. As usual, there are several skating sessions at different times depending on the day of the week. The ice is resurfaced between sessions. Information on skating sessions and opening hours is available at www.mattiaqua.de/freizeit/henkell-kunsteisbahn/laufzeiten (opens in a new tab).
In addition to public skating, curling also adds variety to the ice. This sport requires skill, concentration, and a good dose of team spirit. As a result, the Henkell Artificial Ice Rink offers a variety of winter fun for different age groups and interests.
On Friday, November 27, the season’s first ice disco will take place. The Henkell Artificial Ice Rink will then be transformed into an atmospheric dance floor on the ice, complete with music, lighting effects, and entertainment for all skating fans. Tickets can be purchased at the box office or at www.mattiaquacard.de. They cost 10 euros at the box office, while online tickets cost 9 euros.
