Höhenstraße: Complete closure due to road repairs

From Wednesday, October 28, through Friday, November 6, the Civil Engineering and Surveying Office plans to renovate the roadway and sidewalk on Höhenstraße at the intersection with Tennelbachstraße. During this time, Höhenstraße will be completely closed between house number 32 and Tennelbachstraße.

Pedestrians and cyclists will be routed past the construction site. Traffic on Tennelbachstraße will be regulated by traffic lights at the intersection with Höhenstraße.

The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the work.

The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. That is why there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at www.wiesbaden.de/baustellen (opens in a new tab). If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr will provide information on detours at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to even more severe traffic disruptions.
