Platte Hunting Lodge and Kurhaus: Two Wedding Fairs, Two Venues
This fall, Convention Wiesbaden will showcase the Platte Hunting Lodge and the Kurhaus Wiesbaden at two wedding fairs with different themes. On Saturday, October 24, and Sunday, October 25, the team will provide information about both venues at the “TrauDich!” fair in Hall 45 in Mainz. On Sunday, November 1, the Platte Hunting Lodge itself will host the “Celebrations” wedding and event fair.
“Wiesbaden offers couples a wide range of options for planning their wedding exactly as they envision it. The stately Kurhaus and the Platte Hunting Lodge, with its blend of history and modern architecture, provide the perfect setting for a variety of preferences, event sizes, and requirements. Participating in both trade shows also strengthens Wiesbaden’s profile as a destination for private celebrations and events,” explains Daniela Georgi, Director of Economic Affairs for the state capital of Wiesbaden.
“Choosing the venue is one of the most important decisions when planning a wedding. At ‘TrauDich!’, we can advise couples early on and work together to find the setting that best matches their vision. With ‘Celebrations’ at the Platte Hunting Lodge, we offer the opportunity to experience one of our venues firsthand,” says Matthias Fromm, Managing Director of Wiesbaden Congress & Marketing GmbH.
“TrauDich!” is primarily aimed at couples in the orientation and planning phase who want to compare different offerings and wedding venues. The Convention Wiesbaden team will be on site to provide information about the options for hosting weddings at the Jagdschloss Platte and the Kurhaus Wiesbaden. This showcases two venues that cater to different concepts and scales.
The Jagdschloss Platte combines historic masonry with a modern glass roof and an open floor plan spread over two stories. The venue is suitable for groups of 50 or more and can accommodate celebrations with up to 600 guests. When booked, the building is made available exclusively to the wedding party. The surrounding forests and meadows, as well as the view of Wiesbaden, complement the interior spaces by offering various opportunities for photo and video shoots.
With its historic halls, the Kurhaus Wiesbaden offers a prestigious setting for weddings. Rooms of various sizes accommodate civil ceremonies as well as receptions, dinners, and larger celebrations. At the fair, interested couples can obtain information about the venues’ rooms, capacities, and organizational options.
A week later, the focus shifts: On Sunday, November 1, the “Celebrations” wedding and event fair will take place directly at the Jagdschloss Platte. It is aimed at future brides and grooms as well as visitors planning a private celebration or event. In addition to talking with exhibitors, they can get a firsthand look at the Jagdschloss as a potential venue.
Exhibitors from various sectors of the wedding and event industry will offer ideas for planning and organizing celebrations. The Jagdschloss Platte event team will also be on site to provide information about the venue’s available facilities as well as the Kurhaus Wiesbaden.
