Mainzer Straße Closed Outbound: Buses Are Being Diverted

Due to the closure of Mainzer Straße (outbound), routes 3, 6, 27, 33, 34, and 49 will follow a modified route from Monday, October 5, starting around 6 a.m., through Saturday, October 10.

Toward the indoor swimming pool and Mainz, lines 3, 6, 27, 33, 34, and 49 will initially follow their regular route to the main train station. From there, they will travel via Gustav-Stresemann-Ring to the “Statistisches Bundesamt” stop. The detour then continues via Wettinerstraße, Welfenstraße, or Brunhildenstraße, and back to the regular route. The “Statistisches Bundesamt” stop will be served. During the closure, the stops “Gartenfeldstraße,” “Mainzer Straße,” and “Welfenstraße” will be skipped on outbound trips. Trips to the main station are not affected by this measure.

Passengers should take these changes into account when planning their trips and allow for extra time if necessary. Additional general information is available at the schedule boards at the affected stops. Up-to-date schedule information can also be found on the interactive route map at www.netzplan-wiesbaden.de. An overview of all detour notices is available at www.eswe-verkehr.de. The ESWE Transportation Service Hotline can be reached Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at (0611) 45022450.

Timetable and fare information is also available via the Rhein-Main Transport Association’s hotline, which operates 24 hours a day, every day, at (069) 24248024.
