Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

Construction work on Saarstraße has been completed

ESWE Versorgungs AG completed its construction work on Saarstraße near Schiersteiner Straße on Thursday, September 17. Traffic can now flow freely again in this area.

The state capital of Wiesbaden would like to thank all residents and road users for their understanding and patience during the construction work, which is intended to improve and maintain the city’s infrastructure.

The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewers. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden every year. A map showing selected projects is available at www.wiesbaden.de/baustellen. (opens in a new tab) If buses are affected, ESWE Verkehr provides information on detours at www.eswe-verkehr.de (opens in a new tab). All of this work is an investment in the future. Without these projects, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to even more severe traffic disruptions.
