Information Session on Becoming a Foster Parent
How can you become a foster parent? You’ll learn a lot of useful information at the information session hosted by the City of Wiesbaden’s Foster Care Service on Wednesday, September 30, at 6 p.m. at the Office of Social Work, Konradinerallee 11. Meet in front of the main entrance.
There is a great need for foster families. For various reasons, some children cannot grow up with their birth families and therefore need a new home, either temporarily or permanently. Foster families play a vital role in this process and receive professional guidance and support from the foster care service.
At the information evening, interested individuals can learn more about the different types of foster care, the personal and formal requirements, the application process, and the support provided by the Foster Care Service. Family structure does not matter: married and unmarried couples, same-sex couples, single people, blended families, and families with or without children of their own are all welcome.
