Art Installation on Schlossplatz: “We Want Peace”
On Saturday, September 19, an artistic event will take place on Schlossplatz. Under the slogan “We Want Peace,” artists from the Kunsthaus Wiesbaden invite the public to send a visible message of peace, diversity, and social cohesion.
From 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., members of the public are invited to take part in the performance. Following the performance, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m., there will be music in front of the Atelierhaus Wiesbaden at Schulberg 10, as well as an opportunity to meet and interact with others.
“We Want Peace” is part of the international “Live Peace” movement, which in September of this year connects people and places around the world and conveys the message: We want peace and an end to all wars.
Participating in the event are the artists Mareike Buchmann, Angela Cremer, Anne-Louise Hoffmann, Danbi Jeung, Midia Omriko, Cornelia Rößler, and Christine Straszewski.
Traces and Gut Gut will provide the musical accompaniment.
Admission is free. Those interested can find more information at www.wiesbaden.de/kunsthaus (opens in a new tab).
