Closure of Möwenstraße in Schierstein
The Waste Management Department of the State Capital of Wiesbaden will be renovating the main sewer line on Möwenstraße from Monday, September 28, through Saturday, December 19 (tentatively). The roadway on Möwenstraße will be completely closed for this work.
The closure affects bicycle traffic; pedestrians may use their usual routes. The city asks for your understanding regarding the traffic disruptions caused by the work.
The city regularly renovates roads, utility lines, and sewer systems. As a result, there are approximately 5,000 construction sites in Wiesbaden each year. Without it, major damage would occur sooner or later, leading to even more severe traffic disruptions.
