“The Little Me Is Me” is a small, unidentifiable, colorful animal. What is it? It encounters many animals that are all, in one way or another, a little bit like it. But each time, it realizes that it, too, is always a little bit different. Finally, it asks itself in despair, “Do I even exist?” Then, suddenly, the realization hits it like a bolt of lightning: “Of course I exist: I am me!” The two performers from the GekkoTanzTheater in Tübingen know how to capture the poetry of this children’s book in a playful, dance-like, and dynamic way.
