The clock at Hans-Römer-Platz in Schierstein is showing the correct time again

The public clock on Hans-Römer-Platz in Schierstein is running correctly again. It was put back into operation just in time for the Schierstein Kerb festival. Marc Dahlen, head of the transportation department, took charge of the matter and was able to find a solution to restore the power supply on short notice.

“The clock is a fixture of Hans-Römer-Platz and a familiar part of Schierstein’s townscape. I’m pleased that we were able to find a quick solution so that the clock in Schierstein will once again strike the right hour during the Kerb festival,” says Dahlen.

The clock’s power supply had been cut off during construction work on the new restroom facility at Hans-Römer-Platz. After consultation with the relevant authorities, the clock has now been reconnected to the power grid. As a result, it will once again display the correct time at the start of the Schierstein Kerb on September 17.
