Press release of the state capital Wiesbaden

“Wiesbaden Sings” at the City Festival

“Wiesbaden Sings” is back: On Sunday, September 27, as part of the city festival, the Wiesbaden School of Music and Art invites everyone to come sing together at the Dern’sche Gelände from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The focus is on the joy of singing together—with no pressure, no prior knowledge, and no choir experience required. Anyone can join in. To ensure everyone can sing along, there will once again be a free songbook featuring popular classics and evergreens. The repertoire ranges from “Die Gedanken sind frei” and “Eine Seefahrt, die ist lustig” to “He’s Got the Whole World.”

Students and alumni of the Wiesbaden Music Academy provide the musical accompaniment. Support also comes from the audience: experienced members of Wiesbaden choirs sing along heartily and, together with everyone involved, create a shared musical experience.

Admission is free.
