Zukunftswerk Invites You to Its First Admin Party
Starting your tax return, sorting through photos, or finally getting through that overflowing email inbox: Some tasks get put off longer than we’d like. That’s why Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden is hosting its first “Admin Party.” Participants bring their own tasks and take the time together to tackle them.
Each person decides for themselves what’s on their personal to-do list for the evening. This could include digital documents, bills, photos, emails, or other personal files. We’ll work in focused blocks of time with short breaks, based on the so-called Pomodoro Technique. Soft music and light snacks are also part of the experience. If you’d like, you can set a specific goal for the evening at the start.
“The Admin Party is an experiment based on a simple question: Are tasks that you’ve been putting off for weeks easier to tackle when you set aside time to work on them together? We’re providing a room at Zukunftswerk free of charge for this purpose and giving the evening a clear structure with work sessions and short breaks. If the participants have managed to get a few things done by the end, the evening will have been worth it,” says Maral Koohestanian, Head of Digital Transformation.
The Admin Party is not a workshop with a fixed agenda. Everyone works independently on their own tasks. Anyone who’d like to can chat with others during the breaks. Please bring any necessary documents, a laptop, or other work materials with you.
The Admin Party will take place on Tuesday, October 27, and Tuesday, November 17, from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. at Zukunftswerk Wiesbaden in the Luisenforum, Kirchgasse 6, 2nd floor. You can attend either date independently.
Participation is free of charge. Registration via anny.eu/book/adminparty (opens in a new tab) is required. The Zukunftswerk will answer any questions at zukunftswerkwiesbadende.
