Environmental Agency

Obtain information on suspected contaminated sites on a property

If you want to build on or sell your property, you should find out at an early stage whether the soil is contaminated. The Environmental Agency can provide information on whether there are any indications of environmentally relevant previous use of the property in the city's database of suspected contaminated sites.

To obtain this information, a precise description of the location (street and house number and/or municipal district, cadastral district, parcel number) is required, as well as the written consent of the property owner. In addition, the applicant’s name and address must be provided. The request can be submitted using this form or informally via email to altlasten-bodenschutzwiesbadende, provided this information is included.

The information will be provided via email. If you would like to receive it by mail, please indicate this in the “Comments” field.

Fees are calculated based on the time required and will be provided in advance upon request.

If there are no indications of suspected areas, the information will be provided free of charge.
