Aloys Kunz was active as a naturopath in Wiesbaden. In 1935, he ran a Kneipp spa in the house at Walkmühlstraße 15 in Wiesbaden and practiced the natural healing method.
A street in the North-East district was named after him by resolution of the city council on July 3, 1964.
The traffic area named after Kunz, which had previously been owned by the family, was transferred to the state capital of Wiesbaden by a donation agreement dated December 2, 1964. The name Aloys-Kunz-Weg was retained as the official street name.
