• Only one resident parking permit may be issued per person.
• You have your officially registered main residence in Wiesbaden and it is located in a resident parking area.
• For company vehicles: Presentation of a current transfer of use from the employer stating that the vehicle is being made available for private use. ( see "Transfer of use" under Links and Downloads )
• US military personnel living in a resident parking area receive a resident parking permit upon presentation of the rental agreement or certificate from the commander.
• Persons with officially registered secondary residences who are in training , if proof of the training company is presented and the main residence is not more than 100 kilometers away.
• Residents with replacement vehicles (e.g. after an accident); for a maximum of four weeks. The old resident parking permit will be withdrawn for this period.

• Identity document
• Registration certificate part I
• Company car: Employer's letter for company car and registration certificate part I of the company car
• Copy of the vehicle owner's identity card for transfer of use
• Previous (still valid) resident parking permit, if available

Note: Applicants and owners who have an information block entered in the register of residents are advised to present a registration certificate at the time of their visit. Failure to present a registration certificate may result in a delay in processing or even rejection of the application, as a manual query must then be made at the citizens' office.

A full or partial refund of the fee paid for a resident parking permit is excluded.
