The city archive is constantly maintaining and expanding the Wiesbaden city encyclopedia. It provides information on the topics of architecture, education, geology, health, art, culture, literature, music and urban history, nature, the environment and the economy. Originally published as a book in 2017, the reference work, to which over 300 authors contributed, was transferred to digital in 2021. It presents historical events, personalities and institutions of the city.
