If adolescents or young adults need intensive and individual support to help them cope with life due to an acutely dangerous and highly problematic situation, they can apply for intensive socio-pedagogical support.
Adolescents and young adults can receive intensive individual social-educational support. This form of educational assistance is considered in cases of particularly serious problems and acute situations of risk. This assistance therefore focuses entirely on the individuals involved. However, whenever possible, it also takes their social environment into account.
The goal of individual support is to help those affected
- cope with their situation,
- develop self-confidence and a sense of purpose,
- resolve conflicts independently, and
- achieve an independent lifestyle
