KinderElternZentren (KiEZ)

There are 10 KinderElternZentren in Wiesbaden. A KinderElternZentrum is a contact point for all parents from a district and offers space for meeting and joint activities. Information is provided here on many issues relating to the upbringing, support and education of children.

At the KiEZ, parents have the opportunity to take part in open offers or courses and group offers.

Parents can attend open activities such as the baby café or the parents' café without registering.

Each KiEZ has a KiEZ officer who acts as a contact person for parents. KiEZ managers coordinate the services and also offer consultation hours for individual advice.

The aim of a KinderElternZentrum is to support parents in fulfilling their parenting responsibilities and to strengthen their parenting skills.

In principle, KinderElternZentren should develop additional services for parents in cooperation with institutions in the KiEZ districts that work with children.
