The Prostitutes Protection Act (ProstSchG) has been in force nationwide since July 1, 2017. All those who offer sexual services for a fee must present a health consultation in accordance with Section 10 ProstSchG. A certificate is issued after a detailed consultation by the public health department. This is the prerequisite for registering your activity.

The consultation only takes place by prior appointment and lasts a maximum of 20 minutes. It takes place in German. For citizens without sufficient language skills, an interpreter can be provided free of charge on request. Please indicate this when making an appointment.
