For a lively and attractive city center

City management works strategically and with a variety of measures to promote the attractiveness, economic strength and quality of life of Wiesbaden's city center as a sustainable center of the Hessian state capital together with public and private stakeholders.

Our heart beats for the city

City Management is actively involved every day in the positive development of Wiesbaden's city center - the heart of the Hessian state capital. We see change as an opportunity - always keeping an eye on a liveable and attractive city center for residents, visitors and businesses.

Our goal is to improve the quality of experience and the quality of stay in the heart of the city, especially in the historic center, to promote economic growth and ensure sustainable development - and to strengthen the city center as an unmistakable brand for the state capital of Hesse as a location overall.

City Management sees itself as a point of contact for all matters relating to Wiesbaden's city center. We are advisors, caretakers, networkers, organizers, impulse generators, trouble-shooters, bridge builders, coordinators, mouthpieces, motivators, visionaries and realists. We bundle the diverse interests and ideas from the public and private sectors, create synergies and work to turn them into reality.

City management is a cross-sectional task - which is why we focus on all facets of the city center: from retail, services and commerce to housing, leisure and culture to gastronomy and tourism. Because this diversity is the key to a vibrant Wiesbaden city center with good prospects for the future.

Inner city development only works together

The positive further development and multifunctionality of Wiesbaden's city center can only succeed in close cooperation between municipal politics and administration and all stakeholders in the city center - from citizens, retailers, restaurants, hotels and service providers to the art and cultural scene, property owners and many other stakeholders and project partners.

Close communication with everyone who wants to get involved in the city center is therefore a key feature of city management. We are at their side as a reliable point of contact.

Organizationally located in the city administration as a staff unit in the mayor's department, city management is geared towards dynamic, interdisciplinary work. As an interface to the city administration, the City Management is a single point of contact for all stakeholders, organizations and supporters in the city centre. We stand for short distances and quick contact to the right people for all kinds of issues in the city center.

Do you have any questions or comments?

Do you have a new idea for a project, a concept or an initial question, e.g. in the areas of vacancies, participation formats, events or to further increase the attractiveness of public spaces?

Let us get in touch - directly, straightforwardly and as quickly as possible. We can't solve every problem, but we take care of all questions and put them to the right people.
