WI:START—The Crafts Scholarship supports craftspeople in bringing their business ideas to life by providing up to 1,000 euros per month for a period of twelve months. The application period begins in October 2026.

The Crafts Scholarship
WI:START - The Crafts Scholarship is intended for craftspeople who have brought an extraordinary idea to life in Wiesbaden. The business must have been founded or taken over no more than 3 years ago.

Approach: New Technologies, Digital Processes, Innovative Approaches
- Social Value
: Social or cultural impact, closing gaps in access to services
- New Approaches to Training
: Apprenticeship opportunities for disadvantaged youth or people from immigrant backgrounds
- Sustainability
: Regional supply chains, circular economy, and more
Selection procedure
After a preliminary selection process, suitable applicants will be invited to present their business idea or start-up in person to a jury in Wiesbaden.
