Re-entry
Women returning to work after a longer family break or care leave often need individual support on their way back to work. Various institutions make it easier for women to return to work with their services.
Career paths for women e.V.
Reconciling work and family life is a challenge for many women. To make it easier for women to re-enter the job market, the city of Wiesbaden supports the advice center of the non-profit association BerufsWege für Frauen e.V. (Career Paths for Women).
The advice center supports women who are unemployed, who are returning to work after a family phase or who want to reorient themselves. It offers individual advice and practical workshops in small groups. The focus is on career guidance, opportunities for training and further education as well as starting a business.

Network Re-entry Women Hesse (NeW)
Women returning to work bring valuable professional and life experience with them. Companies benefit from their knowledge and skills - especially in times of increasing demand for skilled workers. At the same time, the labor market has changed dramatically: Digital technologies are shaping everyday working life and are now a key requirement for many jobs.
Since 2009, the NeW network has been supporting women returning to work through eight providers at five locations in Hesse and offers a wide range of services in the areas of training, advice and coaching. A particular focus is on blended learning: experienced teachers teach up-to-date content in hybrid events, while digital learning programs, webinars and learning videos enable flexible and independent learning. In Wiesbaden, BerufsWege für Frauen e.V. is part of the network with the project Wiedereinstieg 4.0 - Zukunftschancen im digitalen Zeitalter.

The job market is constantly changing - digitalization and transformation bring both challenges and new opportunities. Returning to work after parental leave can be a complex task. To make this transition easier, the city of Wiesbaden is supporting a coaching project by FRESKO e.V., a non-profit association for educational and cultural work.
The offer provides individual support from a personal coach in order to develop a clear professional perspective. The focus is on the participants' professional and personal skills in order to open up new paths into the job market - especially part-time.
Important cornerstones of the coaching:
- Weekly coaching sessions lasting 2 hours
- Individual appointment with the personal coach
- Tailor-made advice for a successful return to work
The project is aimed at women and men who are looking for support with their professional orientation and return to the job market after parental leave.
