Securing young talent and skilled workers

Re-entry

Women returning to work after a longer family break or care leave often need individual support on their way back to work. Various institutions offer services to make it easier for women to return to work.

Securing young talent and skilled workers - re-entry

Women returning to work bring with them a wide range of professional skills, personal resources and extensive professional and life experience. These diverse qualifications make them a valuable and often underestimated target group for companies, especially in light of the increasing shortage of skilled workers. Thanks to their motivation, flexibility and practical experience, they make an important contribution to the sustainable recruitment and retention of skilled workers.

The Department of Economic Affairs and Employment specifically supports and promotes projects that accompany, qualify and strengthen women returning to work. The aim is to support women on their way back into working life, to make their potential visible and to promote their sustainable integration into the labour market.
