Panel discussion: Industry agenda in the election program?
On March 10, 2026, a public panel discussion was held with the parties running in the 2026 municipal election. The event was organized by the Wiesbaden Industry Advisory Board. The discussion focused on industrial policy objectives and visions for Wiesbaden as a business and industrial hub.
The local elections on March 15, 2026, will set an important course for the future of the state capital, Wiesbaden—including for its industrial sector. What are the political parties’ plans for making Wiesbaden a strong and sustainable industrial hub? What role does industry play in their campaign platforms? What plans are in place to secure the city’s position as an industrial hub?
The Wiesbaden Industry Advisory Board invited the parties represented in the current City Council to a public panel discussion to ask these and many other questions about industry and to receive answers. This allows employees of industrial companies and citizens interested in politics to get a first-hand impression of the candidates running in the local election:
