Social, common good and sustainable start-ups

The aim of the Social and Sustainability Start-up Hub (S³HW) is to establish Wiesbaden as an attractive location for social and sustainability-oriented start-ups and to contribute locally to a crisis-proof, sustainable and future-proof economy.

The Department of Economics and Employment supports companies that want to bring about positive social, welfare-oriented or ecological change with successive workshops, accelerator and incubator programs as well as a wide range of networking opportunities and collaborations under the S³HW banner.

The implementation of the first sub-modules began in 2024.

Ideathon - from problem to idea

On December 10, 2024, people interested in founding a company, entrepreneurs and employees from companies, welfare, administration and science developed collaborative and creative ideas on specific social and ecological challenges within the state capital of Wiesbaden.

Train The Trainer - Raising awareness for the topic of social & sustainability

On December 11, 2024, established institutions of the Wiesbaden start-up consultancy were provided with a sustainable basis of expertise in order to be able to provide identical information to sustainable, social and welfare-oriented (young) companies.
