Synagoge Gedenkraum

City Hall,
Schloßplatz 6

Temporary exhibitions in the memorial room for the victims of national socialism display the history of Wiesbaden during National Socialist rule. The room was created in the Wiesbaden City Hall 133 years after the date of the opening of the synagogue on Michelsberg and some 60 years after the deportation of the Jewish residents of Wiesbaden to the concentration camp Theresienstadt.

The first project, "memo 38", showed visitors interior and exterior views of a virtual reconstruction of the destroyed synagogue.
